Architectural Digest has released their annual AD100 list recognizing individuals and firms in the categories of architecture, interior design, and landscape design. We are honored that Olson Kundig was once again included on the list, which was published in the January 2017 issue of the magazine.
Olson Kundig is featured in “The Modernists” category for architecture, which is described by Architectural Digest as “cutting-edge architects who put a poetic spin on pure forms.” In the magazine, the editors speak with principals and owners, Jim Olson and Tom Kundig, about their philosophy, current projects, key influences and more.
“Architecture is about context—cultural or natural,” says Tom Kundig. Jim Olson adds: “I see landscape, architecture, interiors, and art as one harmonious environment. Indoors and outdoors should flow together.”
