Olson Kundig’s Vikram Sami at ASHRAE Building Performance Conference

2017/10/05

On September 27–29, Olson Kundig’s Director of Building Performance Vikram Sami chaired a session at the 2017 ASHRAE Building Performance Analysis Conference in Atlanta. Vikram’s session, titled “Performance Modeling and Design: How Analysis Can Influence the Design Process,” examined how architecture firms are performing early modeling for climate, daylight and thermal performance. In his presentation, Vikram discussed how Olson Kundig incorporates these types of building performance strategies into early phases of the design process. Vikram was joined by co-presenters Kjell Anderson of LMN Architects and Jim Hanford of the Miller Hull Partnership to round out the session.

The ASHRAE Building Performance Analysis Conference addresses energy modeling for designers and other practitioners, with sessions on the most up-to-date processes required to create and operate healthy buildings. ASHRAE is a global organization dedicated to promoting a more sustainable world through energy efficiency and building systems technologies.
