Tom Kundig Collection at ICFF

2017/05/09

Beginning May 21, Olson Kundig will present its Tom Kundig Collection of steel accessories at ICFF, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, in New York City. Featuring more than 700 companies exhibiting their newest design products, the ICFF expo is part of NYCxDesign, New York’s official annual design celebration.

The Tom Kundig Collection, designed by Owner/Principal Tom Kundig and fabricated by 12th Avenue Iron, is a steel accessories line focused on intimately scaled building components and furnishings. Each piece celebrates the moments when people touch the spaces they inhabit, providing an unpretentious yet tactile encounter with the built environment. The collection consists of over 100 unique cut-and-folded steel products ranging from cabinet and door pulls to rollers, lighting and tables.

For 2017, two new furniture items will be introduced: the Jack Box Cabinet, which is available in both a freestanding and wall-mounted version, and the Black Desk, which features a leather-wrapped writing pad. Other new introductions for 2017 include B. Hide, a door handle with a leather-wrapped grip, and a commercial door pull. These new additions to the collection will be on view at Olson Kundig’s ICFF Booth at the Javits Center, number 175, through May 24.
