Elizabeth Bianchi Conklin

Elizabeth Bianchi Conklin is a Principal at Olson Kundig with over two decades of architectural experience. She has worked across a broad range of regional and international project types, including private residential, cultural and mixed-use projects.

Currently, Elizabeth’s focus is on residential design, where she strives to realize client aspirations while balancing the particularities of the site. She is active in all aspects of design, production and management, often coordinating a high level of collaboration between designers, craftspeople, builders and technical consultants. Several of the projects on which Elizabeth has worked have garnered national recognition, including Sawmill, Studio Sitges and Montecito Residence. These projects have all received Chicago Athenaeum American Architecture Awards. Sawmill has received an AIA National COTE Top Ten Award, an AIA National Housing Award and an AIA National Small Project Award. Elizabeth’s work continues to appear in publications worldwide including Architectural Record, The New York Times Magazine, Architectural Digest and Dwell.
