Olson Kundig

Since joining Olson Kundig in 2013, principal Justin Helmbrecht has worked on a variety of project types and scales, including residential, hospitality, mixed-use and cultural. Across projects, the common thread linking his work is strong relationship building with clients, collaborators, and contractors to deliver timeless architecture rooted in functionality and resiliency.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Justin’s deep knowledge in technical delivery—along with his is passion for aligning client goals with the design vision—creates a balanced approach to projects. In his role as principal and project manager, Justin sees himself as the bridge between a client’s vision and the final, built work. Additionally, he seeks to foster integrated, highly collaborative project teams where architecture, interiors, exhibits, and landscape work in tandem.

Outside of his project work, Justin partners with colleagues to develop and implement strategies that strengthen Olson Kundig’s project delivery and quality control processes throughout the firm’s diverse portfolio.
